COURSE DESCRIPTION
Café Culture explores the importance of coffee in society and investigate what makes a good café experience! Students will experience running a small scale café at the college. They will develop employable skills such as working hygienically and consistently to prepare food and a variety of beverages offered in a cafe, customer service and deal with money. They will explore cafes on the Mornington Peninsula and experience this culture first hand.
Students will be assessed on the running of a small business, demonstrate their ability to work as a team in a real-life cafe situation. Demonstrate and be competent at preparing and producing a variety of beverages.
